Ryan Mitchell, a senior at Davis Senior High in California, placed second in the boys varsity race at the De La Salle/Carondelet NIKE Invitational at Newhall Park in Concord. Mitchell covered the 3-mile course in 15:07.7, helping Davis finish fifth with 204 points.
